CYCA is the yarn industry's trade association and sponsors the Certified Instructors Program, a knit and crochet teacher-training program. CYCA supports Warm Up America and Caps for Kids, community-based charity projects.

E-mail: HelpingHands@Offinger.com This organization helps set up mentoring programs by supplying needles, hooks, yarn and how-to- books. It is a great way for girl scouts, after school programs and home school children to be introduced to knitting and crochet. I am proud to be a part of this organization with a program that teaches children from all ages and backgrounds how to knit. We assemble afghans from squares, create bath ensembles for breast cancer patients, homeless shelters and battered women shelters.
