I have some Takumi needles from when I was about 9 or 10 years old and purchased them in Hawaii. I didnt realise that needles came in metal till I was on the mainland and saw the array of metal colors. I bought a pair and never liked knitting with them. They are now plant stakes in my garden. I use the double point needles the most- they come in a set of 5 which means I can use them to knit cloths and have two projects going at the same time!
